A person I respect...

So, yesterday, I had to fill out this getting to know you questionaire for work. One of the questions were...Who do you respect? I realized that at this point in my life, I respect Matt, my handsome, sexy, smart husband the very most.

I may just be swelling with pride right now, but I am proud. I don't think that many people have ever counted Matt as a smart person, I know that I didn't when I first knew him, but he has now graduated with a 3.8 GPA average in Engineering. The things that he does I could never figure out.

He is continually working harder and harder to make our house a dream home. He is currently putting the last touches on the bathroom. He does everything wonderfully and doesn't cut any corners. He makes everything that he does in our house beautiful, even if he hasn't done anything like it before.

He is an incredible dad and husband. Our kids can't get enough of him. I can't wait until he is finally home at night. He makes me feel like I am the most gorgeous woman alive, and has done that since the day we met.

I tell Matt something all the time, and I really mean it right now. I love the man that he was, he is, and the man that God has planned for him to be.

My new oven

I don't cook very much, but hey, I'm getting a new oven and am excited about it. We went down to Boyle's last week and they had some last year bosch ovens they were clearancing out. So, I got a $1500 oven for $600 and am super stoked about it.

I am looking up some casseroles and oven cooked items so that I can use my oven efficiently. It is going to look prettier than the brown one that I have now and that is the best part.

By the way, Boyle's is always the best and cheapest place to get appliances from what I've found. They are awesome. I am also getting a new washer and dryer since they had some awesome closeout deals on those too.

One more week

Well, we have one more week until Matt is done with school. Praise God!!! I plan on not seeing him at all until Saturday afternoon. We are having all our our families over to celebrate next week after graduation and this is the picture on it.

We tried to get laid off on William's last roll of lay offs, but we didn't. Someone else lost their job instead of Matt and they are never going to give Matt an engineering position. I think they are are using the economy excuse to do their laying off so they can send all their work to Mexico and not look bad.

So, we will be done in about 1 month and going to ATK. Matt has a summer internship there that starts June 7.

Primary colors

So, this morning Tristen came up to me and asked me what color she would get if she mixed blue and yellow. She informed me she would get green and then continued to tell me which color she would get by mixing every primary color.

Did I teach her that? Absolutely not. TV shows rock or Tristen is just a genious. It wasn't me teaching her.

Things to look forward to...

Since I am so ready for summer and my son can't handle any more winter, I thought I would put some things I can look forward to.

1. Lagoon opened this weekend. We will get our season passes today.

2. Matt graduates in 3 weeks and has potential for getting a day job and being home at night.

3. My son can run all day and throw as many balls as he wants outside.

4. My blonde children get even more blonde as the sun kisses their hair.

5. I sell lots of dresses during the summer and then have guiltless shopping money.

6. Swimming and new swim suits.

7. Parks and walks.

My revival

Well, since I totally have missed 2 pregnancy announcements, it is time to reblogify.

Gabe is now 2 and thoroughly 2. My mom thinks it's cute. I don't. I do know that he is a future food fighting champion though. You would not believe how far he can throw food and which walls you find it on, until you came to my house. We go through about 5-6 fits a day and I am getting pretty good at getting him in his room and shutting them out now that I put a baby protector on the handle so he can't get out. There are only a few new dents in the walls since we started that. But, when he isn't throwing his fits, he is the smarted, best talking 2 year old I have ran into.

As for me, I have turned into a rising exercise fanatic. Matt and I bought P90X (the infomercial you have all been tempted with, but we bought it off ioffer.com for $30). I love the workout! They are brutal. I don't want to loose weight, but I was getting sick of telling people that it was all my genetics. Now I can tell people that I work hard and eat right. I love it, highly recommended to anyone that is anti getting ready to go to the gym and would rather work out in their underwear in their basement. I have gotten serious results by week 5. Matt is as sexy as ever.

Oh yah!!!! 4.5 weeks and counting to graduation!

Well, we are alive...

Hi everyone, we haven't blogged for a while. I have been working a lot more lately, and have been a little busy. I have found a new hobby that I am having fun with right now... Photoshop Elements. I just finished a page this morning (can't get it to upload), and it helps me remember how precious Gabriel is while his is hitting my computer and throwing everything within reach. I just think about how precious his life is and how blessed I am too have him while he screams and hits me.

Tristen is a 4 year old that has a sass of a 14 year old, but can play barbies for hours.

Matt graduates in a couple of months and we are applying for new jobs in the area, hoping to get something close.

This picture represents how we feel right now. We need sunshine. Every afternoon, Gabe gets his hat, shoes, and coat, comes to me, and asks me to go outside. We need summer!!!!
